How Can Ayurveda Help Me?
Ayurveda states everything in this world, including you, is made up of a combination of 3 Doshas - Vata (Air), Pitta (Fire), Kapha (Earth). By determining your individual dosha (mind-body type) you will be able to determine what foods, activities, routines are best to keep your body in balance.
Prevention is the best cure for disease and dysfunction.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a 5000 year old Indian healing system. It is the sister science of Yoga. Ayurveda does for the body what Yoga does for the mind. Traditionally, it is believed that doing both together will create the best balance. It consists of daily routines appropriate for your mind-body type. The purpose of Ayurveda is mental and physical well-being through nutrition, self-care, lifestyle practices, herbs and seasonal/climate changes.
What Can I Expect During a Consultation?
You will be asked to fill out some forms and then I will do a follow up to get any additional information I may need. Then I will put together a report that shows your unique Prakruti (how much Vata, Pitta, Kapha you are) and recommendations on what is best for your mind and body type.
You can also do follow up sessions for further support.
